This isn't self pity.

I know it's been a while, but I have good reason. This has been a rough year for me and my family. My cousin was killed this past May, and I had a relapse of Valley Fever. I was in the hospital for 3 nights and 4 days. I was originally diagnosed in 2007 with coccimeningitis. It's a rare form of Valley Fever that mostly kills the people it infects (by people I mean Hispanics). Yes I am using the race card because it really does effect Hispanics more than any other race. There's this one case that has been on my mind for three years. This high school girl went to KMC for her symptoms and later died. They found out she had my kind of Valley Fever.  It also turns out my grandpa's nephew had the same kind of too. Yes, he died too. He's not the only case I heard of. My dad's girlfriend's brother-in-law lost his vision becuase of it. He died too shortly after. Now I've been on an emotional breakdown for about a week and a half. I really have no one to talk to, because as you guessed it people die from this. Maybe it's only a matter of time before it finall gets me. Who knows? All I know is I have a loving family, extended family, and good friends.
